Well...
The Cats had a mammoth win on Saturday. It was fantastic to watch in person !!
We kicked 37 goals, 11behinds Total: 233 points
to Melbournes : 7 goals 5 behinds Total: 47 points.
Somes facts:
Fourth Highest in AFL history. The Cats hold the record (239 points in 1992).
The winning margin was second highest in AFL history.
Geelong recorded 510 disposals, the most ever recorded by a team.
Steve Johnson's 27 score involvements for Geelong, 11 score assists an 10 goal assists were the most since records have been kept.
While we did have a day out, Melbourne were woeful. We nailed them in the 1st quarter and it was like they gave up after that. They are a team that can still make it into the final eight.
The aftermath of the defeat is. yesterday they sacked their coach. 5 games to go in the season. Poor form in my book.
Play the Gold Coast Suns this Saturday.
Second on the ladder and I can't see that changing for the remainder of the season.

Andrew...
The Swans played their asses off. We went to the game. While our boys weren''t 'on', Your boys played their game and we couldn't break it. Goodes... what a footballer he is mate. Bit of an emotive incentive as well with one of your players losing his child. The Cats players wore black arm bands for him which I thought showed class.
Well... on to Collingwood this Friday night, then FINALS !!

I wasn't aware of that, it's tragic that any one should loose their child, and so young :(
