Truth is Stranger than Fiction

Post by Vampire Girl on Sun 25 Jul 2010 - 12:08

Well guys.. I don't know what you all are into but i have to say.. i got a real good taste of the alternative lifestyles of others last weekend. When i told my brother about it, he proceeds to tell me "Well Jen, Welcome to the wonderful world of weird sh**." Ya, think??? Wow... I have to say i am still in shock that any of it even happened and that i am alright and can tell the story...

Last weekend i was invited to a surprise birthday party a girlfriend of mine was throwing for her hubby. And well a whole bunch of his compadres are invited and are there... I am the oldest person there.. all of them in their 20's or younger being all soldiers. It was a good party, my little son was there and he played with my friend's little boy the whole time.

However, the real issues took place after the party ended. My girlfriend asked me if i wanted to stay over night and share a bottle of wine with her. I said yes of course as we had no place to be. So we put our little kids to bed, and cracked open that bottle. Her hubby was all into the beer though and had been all evening.. well after all it was his birthday.

So apparently they had a rather rocky start to their marriage. My friend was 18 when they got married and she is now in her mid 20's.. she wasn't ready to be married so she was around town if you know what i mean while he was in Iraq. So i come to find out later that he had not known about a couple of the flings.. and they got aired while i was there. Well i was shocked they even shared things with me, but hey i figured they were open with each other.. fine. Well later that evening she decided to go to bed and left me out there on her patio with her hubby. Well I finished my glass and he started talking to me. I was going to follow her up shortly, but he asked me to stay a little bit longer. I was ok with it until he started to talk more.. oh wow.. you can probably see where this is going.

So I guess it bothered him that my self esteem is a bit lacking at times.. and well i guess i just do not see myself as others do. So he felt it was his imparative to make me see myself as he saw me.

Well the first thing honest to goodness that came flying out of that man's mouth was that he wanted to kiss me. Holy crap!! Of course i brushed it off and just chaulked it up to his being a bit inebriated. I told him that was not cool.. well then he switched over to my not being comfortable in my own skin as it were.. saying meatier women are pretty too.. then he told me i was "very fashionable" that night... oh wow.. what a smooth line, eh?? But i have to admit i was a little flattered. Then i told him he needed to go visit his wife upstairs. Next thing he counters is to ask me what i thought about threesomes and that his wife likes women sometimes..OMG! OMG!! OMG!! Wow... I said no.. my door only swings one way and that it was totally inappropriate for him to talk to me like that. I got up to go inside and go to bed myself when he came over and hugged me.. I thought he was going to try to kiss me.. he would have gotten a surprise too if he had. But i told him i was totally not cool with the behavior and he released me.. I got into the room where my son was already sleeping. I got changed and went to bed. Then as i laid my head down i had an "Alice" moment thinking OMG, i hope he doesn't try to come in the room. I had a little night lamp turned on in case my son got up to the bathroom so he could see where he was going..those were the last things i remember. This was just before 2am.

 Well, not more that about a half hour later i am just almost completely asleep, but then suddenly am aware something isn't right and i am startled awake.. and wow i was startled alright!!! To the sight of a buck naked man standing not more than maybe 6 inches from me staring at me and now clutching his chest because i must have screamed though i don't remember it..
Wow... i asked him if he was alright and what was going on as i sat bolt upright.. my son woke up too asking "what was that noise mommy?" as was that which woke him. I quickly made him turn over away from this mess.. I was in total utter shock.. and i can assure you he was nothing to look at either!! Well he responded by saying he thought he had heard something in my room.. yeah..the call of the wild is what his two heads heard and me screaming at the sight of him!! At least he wasn't saluting me!! Hell! He then turned off my night light for some reason and left the room.. next morning i found my door had been locked from the inside so i guess he locked it to prevent his sorry self from coming back in?? Wow... and his wife, my friend, had no idea any of this happened. It took me a few days to tell her too... I mean really.. what was he thinking??? She said they had tried a couples thing once.. and it was after they all talked about it she said... she said this was totally inexcusable on his part.. huh.. ya think??

Then it hit me as i was driving home... wow... what if he had actually overpowered me while i was asleep? And with my son in the bed asleep no less too??? Could he have hurt me or worse?? Wow.... i have to say, i will never again go to their house or anyone elses over night when alcohol is involved. At least my moral compass is firmly in place. And thank goodness i or my son weren't harmed. My girlfriend was shocked he'd done that to me.. then a few days ago she told me he had told her he was upset with her about the confession of a couple names after all the years.. well then he thought to get back at her he'd try something with me.. uh..yeah.. wrong answer bucko! So.. well what can i say.. she is my friend. But i am not likely to go to their house while he is there anymore. Sigh...

My friends all said that this is the sort of thing you hear about happening to "other" people.. or in the movies... well holy hell..it happened to me!!! I am still in shock over it really.. especially in thinking about what could have played out if he had actually acted on what ever impulse it was he was acting on. CREEPY!!!!!

Glad to see you came out of it OK in the end but it must have been an ordeal at the time.

This was just last saturday... and wow... well i am glad we came out of it alright... scared the heck out of me! Never ever again will i stay over night someplace like that.. i am not used to having my safety and my trust violated. I still am in awe of the gravity of what could have happened as a worst case scenario. :pale:

Me too.
I couldn't stop reading this Jen. Mouth open... Gobsmacked !!
Didn't know whether to laugh or what.
Me thinks weird things happen in that house.
He was probably thinking(grog induced) she's single, hey, why not.
But to stand starkers there... Yikes !!
Musn't be much left in their relationship (both sides)
A lot of trust has been lost there for you. Sorry.
