AAAGGHHH !!
On a seamers paradise on the MCG, the Poms bowled beautifully (damn it !!! ).
Aussies all out for 90-odd and your boys 0 - 157.
Teaching us a lesson so far... well done.

jeez that left a sour taste in my mouth !

I bet it's not as bad as the one in Ponting's. I understand his frustration because he is now in charge of an average team that is low on confidence, a position that is new to him. England on the other hand are used to the frustrations and are doing OK at present.

This reminds me of the situation way back when Kerry Packer stirred the pot and you had to start all over again because the good players left to make more money, this time they just retired.

Well it's all over bar the shouting. I wonder if our lads will be sober for the last test. :drunken:

Looks like they stayed sober then.
Shame this test has been soured somewhat by the accusations of who can cheat best. Over all the late nights or rather early mornibgs have been worth it. At least the next two games will be at a reasonable time to watch over here.

Now even Haddins (our keeper) is having a winge at being dropped for the young bloke. Pane i think it is.
Good idea I reckon.

Hit and giggle game.
But yes, I watched it.
Your boys are playing so much better as a team... they are playing for each other.
and we are inconsistent.

To the M.C.G. in Melbourne. Probable wash-out.

Close finish again but if we can't get Watson out we will always lose, still look on the bright side, the girls have taken an unbeatable lead.

Good win in the first one-dayer. Didn't think we would chasing that total. You right about Wato.
But bowling-wise, your boys are heaps better.

Too much reliance on Swann. Yardy looks horrible but does the business. Not sure Collingwood will ever get back into the team now that Shaz has shown he can do a job and with Broad making a quicker recovery than expected and Woakes doing OK it will be hard to get his place back. Fielding can only count for so much.

Just as well we won the games that mattered because we are getting slammed in these 1 dayers. Good to see Brett Lee playing, I like his attitude, he plays to win but always with a smile. He fielded infront of me at Trent Bridge, last year I think it was, and he was brilliant with the crowd.

Yeah.
I think it's flowing over the rest of the guys.
I'm just wondering should Ponting be allowed to play...
Actually it was a bust-up between Ponting and Hodge that has meant that Brad ain't in all formats of the game. Pig-headed idiots.
Having Hodge in that side... best bat... in form... I have no sympathy for the selectors and captain(if that was the case).
Strauss is experimenting with these games in prep. for the world cup. Prior's not an opener !! Collingwood may not make the trip.
Might as backup. Great in the field but that's all. Add Broad and Anderson and there's a good side. Honestly can't see Aus going too far into the 'Cup'.

Well just when I thought we had played your guys into form we go and win one. I reckon they did it to keep the series alive.

Now he makes me eat my words.
Hits a 50-odd to help get the score up to 249
Lee again, does early damage with the ball. Pace was getting up to 150 kph.
Skittled Prior... Not an openers backside. I know these are limited over games but there must be someone better to open. Haddin for us is doing a bit better.
Go back to Gilchrist for us... Same though... feast or famine. But what a hitter he was.
Aus won to take the series. Last couple of games will be experiments for both sides

Oh that's right... COOK !! Isn't he the one that nailed us ?
What's wrong with using an in form batsman...

You know us Poms, we felt guilty for winning the series that mattered and didn't want to rub it in. Notice how we let you score your highest score by bowling anyone that could run up.
