We had a good dump of rain over the weekend causing cancellations of cricket, our open day at work among lots of other things in Geelong.
Up in 'Sanshoe Land' (New South Wales) they had a lot of flooding.
How is it up there Andrew ?
Hope you have dry feet...

Three days of constant rain, no flooding where I am but no golf either, even though the water drains away very quickly (sandy soil ) I will not play in the rain.
grass needs mowing again.

I'll trade you grass cutting for snow removal any day of the week Andrew! :)

Yes, you can have that Joel.
i've never experienced 'snow' only when I've gone up to the mountains skiing.
That being said, We're over the cold and wet down here.
Last night at cricket training I was wearing a windcheater under my shirt. The sun was shining but there was a chilly southerly blowing through. Not often I'd be doing that.
Also got 'Carols By The Bay' in Geelong tomorrow evening. No rain but it'll be a cold one.
Roll on Summer !!!

Keep your snow and cold Joel, I'll keep mowing, which reminds me I'm just about to get the mower out and do the lawn now. LOL

G'day Joel,
Struggled with the skiing. That was almost 20 years ago !! Was a lot of fun though. Sorry mate no vids. a few photos taken. I'll try to dig them out...

On finger side of things... Still a bit swollen at the knuckle and hurts when I bump it the wrong way, but that's it. Didn't miss a game and any catches at training don't tickle but pain subsides quickly telling me it's on the mend. A few fingers are a bit crooked(courtesy of 20-odd years of wicketkeeping).
thanks for asking mate.

How about yourself...
Got any 'war wounds' be it work or sport ?

Hey Andrew, did my lawns Friday night. Grass is growing too quick.

Hey Al, let's see...
Broke my right hand punching my best friend in the head when we were 13. Broke my left Scaphoid punching a very drunk and beligerent twit in the head after he started fighting at a party and would not leave when asked about 24 years ago. (12 weeks in a cast)

My eldest daughter was born spring of '96. 2 months later I went up north to visit some friends and go water sking for the day and broke my left ankle in 2 places. I have never gone away with the boys since... (14 weeks in a cast)

Fractured my collar bone when I was 15. 4 toes and 3 fingers, but everything is still attached and working.

I've always been very active and never let things scare me. Most would say a risk taker. I like to think of it as a get the job done type of guy...

Cheers!

Got a few nice warm days up until the weekend... then BAM!! Rain & showers. Can't take a trick with the weather.

There seems to be a bit of the 'agro' and daredevil in ya mate.
Out of all the 'silly' things I've done in my youth, the worst has been a broken finger... set with a couple of screws... still in there. That's it though. Lucky I guess.

Don't know if it was an anger thing Andrew or the challenge... I have never thrown the first punch.

And Andrew those days ended about 23 years ago when I met me a good woman and decided being a lover was more fun... ;) ;) LOL
