Les I know 2 people who have had both knees replaced within the last six months. Both successful opperations.
one of them (a male) spends too much time sitting around on his a$$ reading books, and is still struggling a little bit.

The other one a female is doing exceptionally well. after 6 weeks is walking without the aid of sticks, and she is the one we thought, would be complaining woe is me, I'm amazed at how well she is doing.
Rest assured these opps are done every day with no problems, and Im sure yours will go well, you'll be on back on those skates before you know it. :)
