We got between 10 - 12 inches of snow (roughly 30 cm) in S.E. Wisconsin the other night. I guess in the south (Orlando, Florida) they will be getting measurable snowfall today. I am so done with winter... come on spring!!!

What boots do you wear with all that snow in Wisconsin, would they be Sorel ones. I like the look of them.

I wear whatever boots fit me!!! I wear a 13½ + Wide U.S. Shoe size. Not the easiest size to find in stock. Not sure which brand I have now. I think Timberlands... they are a few years old.

Last time I was on the M25 I was stuck for 4 hours and there was no snow.I think 'road to hell' sums it up quite nicely.

It's hitting the east coast of the US some places got 40" of snow... Here in WI, a clipper is supposed to be coming down from Canada and we may get hammered Monday night and Tuesday... not looking forward to it.

State side, we are getting our share tonight... They estimate 14 inches (35.5 cm) here in S.E. WI... the night is still young, but I don't think we will get what they had on the east coast.

Wow - we ended up not getting much more snow (about 40cm), but we did feel an earthquake here in the midwest!! Centered just west of Chicgao in Dekalb IL (about an hour and twenty minute drive south of me)... It was a little one... 3.8-magnitude.

We never really get quakes here, well not big ones. Maybe smaller ones a bit further North than me.

I'll take some of that snow off your hands though!

Snow is something I have been very acustomed to living in the Toronto area all my life. But this has to be the easiest winter ever in the Toronto area.

We have had maybe 2 snowfalls this year and only had maybe 2 inches the other day. I wish every winter were like this.

our winters are usually very much like the winters you get Sith.

That said... ours has been pretty mild too... not like the last two years with 100+ inches per season (ugh... knock on wood... might have spoke too soon)

I'm betting you don't get a lot of snow in NC... Winter is at an end in WI, but I'll let you know when you can come up and visit and make all the snow angels you want (if you're flight does not get delayed or canceled to Milwaukee - Mitchell or Chicago - O'hare)... Me, I want to get away from Winters for good!!!

No, Not in the region I live in. This end of the state is too warm... though in winter we get to the 30's or lower but the moisture just doesn't make it ove this far on account of the mountains to the west and the ocean to the east. If I lived closer to the mountains and the northwestern end of the state I would see a normal winter.. well a winter i am accustomed to. I am originally from Buffalo, NY....snow city! Yes I can understand the need to be away fromt eh snow.. fun to play in but not fun to shovel or drive in... but i miss it. I miss my white Christmases, I miss the desire to cuddle up in my bed because it's snowing hard outside, miss making snowmen and snow angels... sigh. Guess I will always be a northerner at heart. ❤
