No snow here, but a fair whack of flash floods. We're having an interesting combo of hot weather and storms. Had a ripper late yesterday arvo. The boss was travelling back from Melbourne. Gave me a call to make sure the pumps were all working ok. All roads were under water. It's just after 7am here at work... beautiful blue sky, the sun's shining through the window. We're expecting 30 deg C today (hot and muggy). And, yes, showers and the odd storm during the afternoon. Typical cricket weather. We haven't had it like this for over 10 years.

Our cricket selectors aren't going well. Picking Hughes who has hardly set the world on fire with his batting with an average around 16. Still say when you are selected to play for New South Wales they give you 2 caps. A NSW cap and a baggy green test cap. David Hussey, Brad Hodge.... What have they done not to be considered. They must've slept with someones missus or said the wrong thing.
Poms to win the Perth test and retain the Ashes. They are playing good cricket.

Oh... AL Pals in front. This Aussie is winning at least...
