Logged In and back at work... yay!!! (tinged with sarcasm).
Grabbed a coffee on my way to work at small coastal cafe.
Very nice. Busy at work. Lots to catch up on.

Yes, bought the car. Only came down $200 (better than nothing).
Wife going in later with other daughter to collect.
Everyone now fit and healthy.
Hope the party went well.
Went to my sisters 50th Saturday night. Only stayed as long as we had to. Bit of a selfish dill that one.

Expecting average weather today/tomorrow. Squally winds, rain etc.

Cold here yesterday and today a bit worse with icey winds. Might get a few showers during the day.
The missus and eldest went to a 'German' dinner last night. Daughter learning that language. They had a ball and the food was great.

Hey Al, yes it has been a little slow here but also on other forums.

Well Canada Day is tomorrow so a long weekend.

We are going to start it off by taking the kids and neighbours to the 5 Drive-In to see Cars 2 and the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie tonight. Should be a good time.

Hey Al, Neither movie was as good as the originals but entertaining non the less! And there is just something about seeing a show at the Drive-In.

I grew up about 20 minutes from here so I have been going to this Drive -In for 30 + years. The kids think it is cool that daddy went here as a teenager.

It is the only Drive - In left within about 100 miles. :(

Used to be 2 in Geelong.
The very first time was The Jungle Book. The Disney cartoon version.
We had to have a sleep during the afternoon so we would stay awake for the entire movie.
I even remember crying with laughter at the Porkys movie when it came out. Others I don't remember as I was with someone of the opposite sex... er..umm...

Oh how i remember the drive-in, There is still one operating in Sydney, It's the Blacktown Twin Drive-in, I lived about 4mins away, got to know the Manager and staff really well in the course of my job, they let me in for free any time I wanted to see a movie.

Haven't been to the drive-in now for at least 7years.

I know theres a 'triple' in Dromana. Directly across the bay from us.
It has 3 drive-in's in the one spot.
Last time we went there was to watch Haunted Mansion (Eddie Murphy) with the girls.

Hey guys the 5- Drive-in is also a triple screen drive- in. It was the Thursday night of the long weekend so each screen had 3 shows that night. We just stayed for the first 2 caus come 2:00 am 3 of the kids were sprawled out in the van sleeping...

Oh ya coffee is strong and hot.

Both movies were good and worth watching. but not quite as good as the originals.

Boiling the kettle as I'm typing this.
Wife & daughters along with wifes friend and her daughter went to the midnight showing of the last Harry Potter movie last night.
We watched HP 7 then off they went. I watched 'The Fighter' then went to bed about 12:30. They got home around 3am this morning.
All very happy... tired but happy. I'm just tired.
I'll go with my girls later this week or on the weekend.

You going to have a look ?

Never been a HP fan but the kids went last friday night to the 3D version and loved it.

Gonna be hot today again. 85 degrees F at 8:30 am. Probably be up around 100 again. It has been 4 week since it last rained here and man do we need it for the crops and gardens.

Lots of Beer in the cooler on ice so help yourselves and have a great Saturday or sunday whichever it may be for ya.

Beautiful crisp clear morning here. Had a low of around 4 deg C.
No wind to speak of.
Been cleaning around the place in preparation for a tour on Friday by some big wigs in the business, CEO's from other Water Authorities etc. Bit of a wank really. They'll only be here for one hour. It'll make our big boss look good if nothing else...
