Sorry Al, I'll join ya for a coffee!
Been raining since March and very foggy today but the sun is to come out this PM and then rain again tonight and the rest of the weekend. But the temos are to rise also to about 35 C at the moment it is 12 C.
Have a good day folks. :)

Coffee's nice and strong.
Expecting 15degC partly cloudy. no rain.
Speaking of weather...
Is anyone in or close to where all the tornados are occuring over there in the U.S.
Sounds pretty bad.

Logged in thanks for the strong coffee !
Expecting 90s F high humidity here today.Funny how just a few days ago we had 40s F nightime rain yesterday with some rolling blackouts.
@ Alby It is actually winter 'down under' right ?
and do kangaroos play rugby ?

Re: Log in game!
Winter actually starts tomorrow (calender-wise) but its been chilly in the mornings before turning into a reasonable few days.
It will get get worse from now on. Wind chill where I work is bad. We are only a couple hundred yards from the coastline. So no, we don't get snow like you guys thank goodness. Jealous ??
And Kangaroos can only box
The Aussie Rugby side are the Kangas though.
I'm an Aussie Rules boy. Don't really follow Rugby, but don't mind watching our Melbourne Storm when they whip the teams from up north.

Re: Log in game!
Hi Alby ! thanks & gotta love the feedback about the kangaroos ..thought I heard something about them
yep being about 60 miles NW of Chicago [my home town] definitely familiar with wind chill some of us refer to it as 'Da Hawk'
Never really saw or played rugby before but in these parts we have 'da Chicago Bears and instinctively raised to boo the Green Bay Packers [cheeseheads] and some of the Norse & worse 'Vikings'
anyhow you got the lotto numbers for Monday to share ? I 'll split the win with ya .

Re: Log in game!
I wish !!
Given up on Lotto's.
I've seen the 'hats' those idiot Packers wear... Couldn't think of anything worse.
Love my Aussie Rules Footy, mate.
As Sith Tracy will testify... I'm a staunch but not 'one-eyed' Geelong Cats member. The eldest daughter is a member this season which is a bonus. I just go to the home games. She went to the 2009 Grand final (Cats won). and the odd away game in Melbourne.
I live in Leopold, a small town only 8 miles from Geelong.
I've got Sith as a Cats supporter and always looking for more.
I try to keep up with news about his Blackhawks (hockey).
You go to the Bears games ?

Re: Log in game!
I was just funning with ya on the lotto numbers with the timezone difference. & do not play lotto or gamble anyhow just never was my thing.
so when you refer to footy you mean soccer ? right ?
def agree with you on those cheeseheads and it's surprising how many Green Bay Fans there are in Chicagoland guesss they have to be tolerated just like those sorry Chicago Cubs fans ! that can be rather annoying. Before I moved out to Crystal Lake I used to live not to far from Wrigley Field in Chicago just walking distance to it's magnificent lakefront which is way cool if you ask me.
yep that's right Sith is a big hockey fan
had some Bears tickets a few times last year and gave them to my nephews and they had a good time. One of them had a beautiful baby girl born last month and the other is getting married in September.

Re: Log in game!
Hhmmm...
Yeah, I can be a bit slow on the uptake... Ha ha !!!
And you'd better be joking about soccer....
Hate it with a passion. They're a pack of acting wimps !
Still play cricket with our local club. That helps to keep me fit.
Oh Boy !! Great Uncle. Feel old now ?
I've got 3 girls, Eldest will be 21 in August, and the twins have just turned 18. And yes, I feel old... moreso when my back gets sore and tightens up.
I'll discuss baseball vs cricket and our respective footy codes another time

Logged in, Hey 4h we now have the same number of posts, how spooky is that????
Constant rain and cold for the last three days but we needed the rain.
Finally got my Solar Array fitted on Thursday, only took them six hours to install, but 3Months + 2 weeks to get here.
Now all I have to do is wait another few weeks to have it connected to the Electricity Grid.
Have a great day.
Hi Alby, glad to see you're still flying the flag and educating the Masses to our great country.
Hi rrplay as well, You still trying to get those lotto Numbers..

Cold clear and sunny. There's a mist coming off the ocean. A real eiry look. I wish I had my SLR camera with me.
Already had 2 coffees but will brew some more for those dropping in.

First week of hols.
Damn cold with icy showers today folks. Tired from waking to the hail showers during the night (tin roof).
Coffee is hot and strong.
Indoor activities are the go this time of year. I'll prune the fruit trees next week. Bit of less wet weather expected.
Off to see the new X-Men movie this morning with my girls.

Re: Log in game!
Good to see ya AL! Have fun at the movies! Sorry to hear about the weather. it is finally starting to warm up here and the rain is letting up also. 30 degrees C today felt close to 40 with all the humidity from last nights storms. Tomorrow should be about 35.37 they say so it will feel well over 40.
Take care and enjoy the movie!

Enjoying my holidays.
Just had lunch and the coffee's on the stove. Pop in when you're free...
The X-Men movie was great. Worth the look-see if you've got time.
Been pruning trees and mowing lawns. Finished Mum-In Laws lawns by Moonlight last night.
Been a dry week so far temps have been around 15degC.
Speaking of Moon... We get to see a lunar eclipse tomorrow morn around 5am. Hoping for a clear night. I'll be setting the alarm for it.

Hey AL how was the eclipse? Nothing for us to see here in Canada but reports said it would be great to see in your neck of the woods. There was a beautiful full moon though last night...
Have a good one folks. :)

Re: Log in game!
Hey Joel.
Lucky to get one photo before the fog and cloud put an end to it.
We're in the the wrong side of the country for this one.
Nearing the end of my holidays. Back to work Monday.
Enjoying a freshly brewed nice strong coffee as I'm typing.
I'll be taking one of the twins to look at a car in an hour or so.
A little Nissan Pulsar. Similar age as the one the eldest daughter drives. Low kms. $7000 .I'll try to get it down a few $ and we'll put in a few grand to help.
The other twin's on the couch crook with a bit of gastro.
How's your tribe going mate? All well I hope.

Hey Al we are all doing fine thanks. Good luck with the car hope it works out. We have a busy weekend with soccer tonight and then Lauryn has a Birthday Party for tomorrow night with a hayride and a big bonfire afterwords and the whole family will go. Her friend asked that she make her the Birthday Cake as Lauryn has become quite the little Baker...
Hope your daughter is well soon and enjoy your last few days off!
