Just finished standby. Free to have a couple of quiet ones tonight.
My shout guys. Got some Corona's in the fridge (mexican beer).
We can watch the footy or I'll put on some Joe Bonamassa, bluesy stuff or whatever. Plenty of room in the garage turned into rumpus room. Pop over when you all finish work.

I put some coffee on for those that would like. Grey and scattered showers here today. Got all my sod down yesterday so the backyard looks good and the front yard is looking good also.

Bit after 6:30am here. Still dark. Rostered on this morning. Finish close to noon. Gives me plenty of time to get home, change, coffee in the thermos and off to the footy with the daughter.
By the way it's my turn to cook the brekky this morning. Nice easy fare. Bacon, eggs, tomatoes and hashys.

Finished up grabbing some Fish and Chips for tea. Got a call around 6:30pm... my sister. Looks like there some communication issues. It was the nephews 21st. Woops !! Rush around, get changed, grab a bottle of Red. Rush over to their house (20min drive). They had pizzas on the go. We weren't hungry. Was an enjoyable evening. Caught up with my brother and others.
Had a few wines. Had an early night because I had to be here this morning.

Just shut-Up !! I'm Jealous as...
Yesterday only got to 12 deg C with a high wind chill factor.
Only 15 deg expected today.
Sorry mate, I brought my own coffee in with me today. I'll take you up on it tomorrow.
Just curious... What temps do you get up to in summer up there ?

I don't know if we are going to have a summer this year. Been a very cold & wet spring.

Hot summer days are usually mid 30's with humidex into the 40's. Enjoy the day!

Yep Coffee's on.
Last night I actually had a couple of 'snifters' of Port. I need some 'comfort' grog. Don't know what you guys call it. It's nice to way to complete the evening after a few beers.
Just been have a horrible busy week at work and whiskey wouldn't have done it. It's a nice sweet one and half the alcohol % of whiskey.

Actually, beers & nibbles are on at my place tonight gents.
Footy will be on the TV and live... not the usual delayed crap.
Geelong (my boys) up against Collingwood. Both undefeated so far. The daughter's going up to Melbourne for it. I'll stay in the warmth and comfort of my lounge. It will be a good stress reliever even if the Cats lose the game.

Mr. Savage will not be a happy camper this morning as his Detroit Red Wings were eliminated last night...

And yep. Geelong won by only a couple of points. It was a hard slog. Good to get the win and a bit of payback. It was hard to watch, so I recorded and watched the entire game whilst waiting for the daughter to get home from the game. Couple of beers and a port to finish did the trick. Just about to go and watch tonights game between Essendon & Brisbane.
What about your boys. Were they in the hunt ?
Or are you just spectating ?
Time to go but I'll brew my special batch of coffee nice and early tomorrow (Sunday) morning. Maybe a big cup for Savage if he has been drowning his sorrows...
