Re: Log in game!
Morning gang coffee is on so help yourselves. It is starting to rain ever so slightly... We need it as we have had no rain for 4 weeks. T storms and or scattered showers in the forecast for today and tomorrow then a beauty weekend in store.
You all enjoy the day.

Re: Log in game!
How was the 'meeting' yesterday ?
Oh, Good morning.
Had my 2 coffees. I'm now set for the day ahead.
Another clear morning here.
Sunrise 7:30am Sunset 5:30pm
The days are starting to get longer. I'm looking forward to some remaining light when I get home from work.

Re: Log in game!
Hey Al.
Was a good meeting but this last year has taught me not to believe anything or anybody till proven otherwise... Need to get some security checks done as I will be working supervisor on some jobs at the Toronto West Detenion center. And will include some night work for one of the banks at their head office.
I am not going to hold me breath but will proceed and hope all works out. Could be a very good opportunity, but can't stop hearing that voice in my head that says otherwise...
Coffee is on and pretty good this morning. Still looking for a van as it is time to upgrade the wifes windstar . Will look at a few this morning.
Hope you all have a good day. :)

Re: Log in game!
Fingers crossed for you mate.
If not too personal... What do you do for a 'crust' ?
Well... we've had a few warmish balmy days down here.
Temps around the 20degc -plus. Wind is starting to pick up a bit.
Another warm one expected again tomorrow. Seems we're getting it from the deserts up in the northern states.
Change with rain to come tomorrow evening and cooling down to low teens with more rain over the weekend. Typical.

Morning gang!
Hey Al I have been running my own contracting company (small scale) which was quite lucrative for a number of years but the last 2 years have been hell. So I have taken a position with a contracting company which does a lot of industrial contracts...
Sounds like your having decent weather for Winter time.
Hope ya all have a great day. Oh ya the coffee is ready so come and get it.

Re: Log in game!
Well, I hope it works for you Joel.
I suppose I'm lucky here. Being a semi govt. corporation. We sort of buck the trend of being in one job for only few years before moving on to 'greener pastures'.
Come January 2012, I will have been with Barwon Water for 30 years. Still remember my first day... massive hangover!!.
I've been in three positions since starting... Stores, Purchasing and where I am now... operator/admin at this coastal Sewage Treatment Facility. Very happy here. The pay isn't as good as other places, but in this employment climate it's very secure. Hey... let's face it... not too many would fancy working with s**t. Me... couldn't care less. Smell never worried me right from the start. Work with seven other blokes. Got a good boss. and I'm not chained to my desk, great view of the ocean. Away from the city hussle & noise. What more can I say.

Re: Log in game!
Well,
It's good to see we're in similar fields mate.
You in the construction side and me catering for the end product.
On the construction side of things... there is a biosolids drying facility being built next to us. Lots of delays too. Union issues during early stages. Then faults with the drying plates. It's nearly completed but they have worries with the conveyor system which takes the wet biosolids from our plant to theirs. 'Underpowered...design fault. Lucky for us it's all being handled by a private company ... and they bleeding cash big time. They don't make one cent until commissioning. And looks to be still months away. Oh, the dried biosolids are a fantastic fertiliser and can even be used as a 'fuel' replacement for coal.

Re: Log in game!
Thanks mate.
I'll be having a couple of 'sherbets' and reds at one of my sisters' tonight. Someones party. I always forget whose.
From what I've been told... it will be ready to use once it leaves the plant. I think will be mixed with other minerals etc and sold as a general fertil.
Much on for the weekend ?
Expecting fine weather here so I'll be in the garden and bit more setting up for the 21st party in a couple of weeks time.
If time permits, I'll take the dog to the beach for a walk.

Re: Log in game!
Gave up the daytime job a while back. Took early retirement after 42 years with same firm, now I don't have time for anything anymore, looking after the wife mainly.

Morning gang! Hope you enjoyed your time off Al and hope you had a great Fathers Day!
Worked late yesterday out of town babysitting the tradesmen on a Bank job so I slept in this morning but now have to get my butt in gear and head to the office.
Have a good one folks!

Yes, most enjoyable break thanks Joel.
Well and truly back into it this week. Catching up on the paperwork and other issues around the place.
Started my Spring fertilising last Sunday. Got to get the vegy gardens ready as well shortly.
Had my 2 coffees for the day. I'm right to go.

Good Morning all.
Almost 9:00am here. And a brisk start to the day.
Had my coffee. The ocean's nice and calm. A bit overcast and we're expecting showers later on.
